Participants

  • Individuals participate for a minimum of three months​

    • Upon acceptance each participant will be required to pay a security deposit of $1000 that will be returned at the successful completion of their time in the academy

    • The academy will run year-around.

    • It will be a fluid rotation of individuals in and out of the academy. When one person completes their time in the academy another will be accepted.

    • We accept applications year-around

    • Each participant will be paid $1500 per month

  • Housing is not included​

    • Power hookups for live-in trailers on site at participant's expense

  • Participants must bring:

    • Western saddle is required! English saddle is optional

    • Saddle pad

    • Multiple cinches

    • Snaffle bit set up

    • Flag

    • Riding boots with heel

    • Halter

    • Positive attitude (most important)

  • Participants are required to care for the horses they are assigned

  • Participants are allowed to bring one personal horse at their own expense

  • Participants are strongly encouraged to use one of the camps as their application to the academy as opposed to submitting an application online​​
